Let’s continue with the Sumit Sao interview.
1. Can you tell our readers about yourself and your blog?
Thanks for giving me this opportunity to share my knowledge with your readers.
Hey BloggingBurp readers, I’m Sumit Sao a part-time blogger, affiliate marketer and founder of BloggingLift.com
Apart from this, I’m also running a Facebook Group “BLOGGING LIFT VIP GROUP” which is joined by 14,500+ awesome bloggers.
Why I created this group?
We all know that whenever a newbie blogger starts their blogging journey then they have lots of doubts in their mind related to Affiliate marketing, CPC, Adsense Approval tip, keyword research, competitor analysis etc.
So, I try to build a community where they can ask as many questions as they want to get help from me and other expert bloggers of our group.
I also try to provide weekly blogging, SEO and affiliate marketing tips in this group to help my blogger friends to take their blog to the next level.
2. Describe how did you first get into blogging?
It all happened due to my interest in HTML web page designing.
During the last semester of my engineering (in 2015), I learned about HTML web page designing and decided to make a web page using it.
I designed a webpage by writing HTML codes and then I purchased a domain name, hosting and created my first single page website.
I know it’s funny but when I visited ShoutMeLoud first time then I think that they’ve also created this entire website by writing HTML codes.
But after reading his blog, I knew what blogging is and then I started an educational blog on Google Blogspot and after 3 unsuccessful blogs finally, I started BloggingLift.com
3. Can you tell me some of your strengths that really helped you in blogging?
Good question. My top 3 strengths which help me a lot in blogging are:
The love and support of my Facebook group members & my blog readers.
4. What type of networking do you think is better to enhance your traffic to the blog?
Blog commenting and connecting with fellow bloggers is the best way. Many newbie bloggers start their blog and think that traffic will come automatically without doing anything. So, don’t make this type of mistake.
If you really want to bring traffic to your blog then the easiest way is to comment on other blogs related to your niche. And it should not be like “ thanks for sharing this helpful article”, “Amazin article” etc. Try to drop a long comment and which grab the attention of other people. If you drop long comment which adds some value then there is a chance that they will visit your site.
The next tips is that select any social media platform (FB Groups works best) and help bloggers to solve their blogging related issues to build a strong connection with them.
One Last tip shares other bloggers article and mention them they will definitely notice it and do the same. It’s the easiest way to connect with other bloggers related to your niche.
5. How do you manage time to run your blog efficiently?
Frankly speaking, it’s very difficult to manage time because I’m a part-time blogger. That’s why I’ve changed my schedule recently and trying to plan everything in advance.
I recently started using Trello. It’s a free app which helps me a lot to organize everything in a proper manner and save my time.
For Example, Whenever I get an interview request then I add it in Trello and I also add few details like a deadline to submit the interview answer, short description etc.
So, I must suggest everyone to try this FREE tool to save your time and reduce work burden.
I always try to spend more and more time on my Facebook Group and on the FB messenger.
I received lots of messages every day on Facebook Messanger from newbie bloggers where they request me to solve their blogging related issues. So, I always try to help them asap.
Because my first priority is to help my blogger friends.
6. What do you think is the best strategy that worked well for you to get more traffic to your blog?
I’m getting most of the traffic from search engine because many of my articles are now ranking in top 3 positions and in Google Featured Snippet.
But Apart from this, these are some proven ways which help me to get more and more traffic:
Build a strong relationship with other bloggers by helping them and sharing their articles. I’m doing the same that’s why my blogging buddies love to share my articles on social media.
Follow 80/20 Principle: It means you should spend 20% of your time in creating a new article and 80% of your time in promoting your old articles.
Build an Email List: It’s the best way to get traffic immediately after publishing your new article.
Conduct Interview with Influencers: You should try to interview the professional blogger of your niche. It’s the best way to steal their traffic.
Find Low KD and High Search volume keywords to rank your article easily.
So, these are some secrets tips which work for me to bring traffic to my blog.
7. Who has impacted you most in blogging and how?
Ankit Singla is the blogger who impacted me the most. When I visited his blog for the first time, from that day I became a fan of his blog due to his amazing writing skill & attractive blog design.
After visiting his blog, I realize one thing that if you want to convert your first time visitor into regular visitors then Blog design, Featured images help a lot.
That’s the reason I always try to make my blog design and featured images as attractive as possible to attract and convert my first-time visitors into regular blog reader.
And the result is that many of my blogging buddies and my blog readers send me messages on Facebook Messanger to know How I designed my blog layout and featured images.
8. What was the most challenging moment in your blogging journey so far?
The most challenging moment in my blogging journey was to make money from my blog. This was the main reason behind my three unsuccessful blogs.

So, I recommend everyone that work smarter and never give up.
9. What inspired you to start your blog?
As I told you earlier, it all happened due to my interest in webpage designing using HTML. At that time, I didn’t know anything about blogging, Google Blogspot Platform, WordPress, Affiliate Marketing etc.

Monday to Friday: I spend 1 hour On Facebook Group to create blogging tips, help newbie bloggers etc. and 1 hour for my blog to plan upcoming articles and writing.
And on weekends I try to spend at least 4-5 hours on writing new content, Reading blogging related articles to improve my knowledge and Planning to make my Facebook group more helpful.
12. Would you encourage other people to make their blog?
Yes, I encourage everyone (who have an interest in this field) to start their own blog but I also tell them clearly that it’s not rich quick scheme.
