1. Can you tell our readers about yourself and your blog?

Hey Vivek,

First of all thanks for giving me this opportunity to share my knowledge with your readers.

Hey Bloggers, I’m Piyush Yadav, a passionate blogger, affiliate marketer, founder of Exact Blogging and a school going boy.

I’m from a small but very famous city which is situated in Uttar Pradesh called Mathura. I know 95% of you guys heard the name of Mathura.

I’m in the field of blogging since last 2 years. In these two years, I have started many unsuccessful blogs and learned a lot of things from those blogs.

Apart from this, I’m also running a YouTube channel and a facebook group “Exact Blogging VIP” which is joined by 100+ bloggers.

My main blog is Exactblogging.com, where I talk about Blogging, SEO, Social Media, WordPress, Web Hosting, and anything related to blogging. Apart from this, I’m also running some micro-niche blogs and some niche blogs.

2. Describe how did you first get into blogging?

Back in 2017 when I was in the class 9th. I told my father to buy a smartphone for me and the next day I got it. When I got my phone I started a YouTube channel within 10 days and started posting videos on it.

I posted many videos and got 500+ subscribers to my channel (actually it was a YouTube news channel) but due to some reason I stopped posting video and after some days when I opened my email I got an email from YouTube that your channel is suspended due to a policy violation.

This was the very worst time for me nothing was happening in favor of me. So I decided to take a rest of one month without doing anything on my smartphone.

But, after some days when I opened YouTube, I got a video on my feed that was a comparison video between YouTube and Blogging.

I had watched that video and realize that blogging is very comfortable for me according to my situation.

So this was my story how I came in the field of blogging.

3. Can you tell me some of your strengths that really helped you in blogging?

Many strengths helped me a lot in blogging some of them are:

a) I love to read and write articles.

b) I’m also a designer it helps me a lot in my blogging career.

c) My passion also helped me a lot.

d) And yes the last one is friend circle, my bloggers’ friend like Sumit Sao, Santanu Debnath, Shivam Kumar, Manish Sharma, Shehraj Singh, etc, helped me a lot.

4. What type of networking do you think is better to enhance your traffic to the blog?

Well, it’s a great question!

According to me Blog commenting, article sharing and connecting with other fellow bloggers on Facebook and Instagram is the best way to enhance traffic to your blog.

When I started blogging I guessed that traffic will come automatically on my blog with just publishing articles. (It’s my worst thinking) But it’s not happened.

At that time I started commenting on other blog’s that was similar to my niche and you guys will not believe me after doing that I made many friends that helped me a lot and my traffic also got increased.

5. How do you manage time to run your blog efficiently?

It’s a very huge problem for me but still, I made a schedule but I’m unable to follow it daily. Take a look at my schedule:

  • 6:00 AM – Wake up
  • 7:00 AM – Go to school
  • 12:30 PM – Back from school
  • 1:30 PM – Start doing work (Blogging, SEO, Etc.)
  • 8:00 PM – Close the laptop and go for a walk and dinner
  • 9:00 PM – Study time
  • 12:00 PM – Sleep time

I know that it’s a simple schedule but very hard to follow for me.

I’m also following 80/20 Principle: It means you should spend 20% of your time in creating new content and 80% of your time in promoting other old articles. This method helps me a lot to manage my time.

6. What do you think is the best strategy that worked well for you to get more traffic to your blog?

I would say that SEO is an amazing way to get organic traffic to your website. Even my website is getting above 400 – 500 organic visitors just because of SEO.

But apart from SEO, there are many ways to get instant traffic to your website some of them are as follows:

a) Facebook – This is also a great way to get traffic to your website even 30% traffic on my website is coming from facebook.

Getting traffic from Facebook is a little hard but if you will follow some strategies then it will be very easy for you.

Here is a small tip for you –

Share articles of other bloggers that are related to your niche and tag them. Also, send them a friend request and chat with them. I mean build some relationship with them.

b) Conduct Interview – After building some relationship with bloggers ask them for an interview. The interview is a great option to get traffic to your website even when I started Exact Blogging I have also taken some interviews to get some audience for my blog.

c) Forums – Forums like quora is an ultimate way to get quality traffic to your website so try to submit some answers on quora regularly.

Apart from traffic, quora will also help you to increase the authority of your website.

So these are some tips that are very useful for you if you will fulfill them.

7. Who has impacted you most in blogging and how?

There are many bloggers like Harsh Agarwal, Ankit Singla, Santanu Debnath, Sumit Sao, Shivam Kumar, etc inspired me a lot.

Their knowledge of blogging and dedication impacted me a lot in my blogging career.

I really love all of these bloggers very much and I’ll also suggest you to follow these bloggers. Because I have learned a lot of things from them and you guys can also learn.

8. What was the most challenging moment in your blogging journey so far?

Right now as a student, the most challenging moment in my blogging journey is to manage time.

Due to my study and other personal stuff, I’m unable to give enough time to my blogs.

If you guys are also facing this same problem then let me know in the comment section.

9. What inspired you to start your blog?

Well, I came in the filed of blogging to earn some extra income.

But as I went deeper into this field, I started enjoying blogging a lot.

So I decided to start a digital marketing blog through which I can help other bloggers to grow their blog’s fast and now my blog is inspiring me daily.

10. How do you motivate yourself to keep the blog up and running?

First of all, I would like to tell you that I enjoy blogging a lot. So, in this case, I don’t need any motivation to get motivated.

Because I love what I do and my love for my work helps me to run my blog up and running.

But, whenever I feel demotivated due to any reason I go to FB groups and find queries because I’m feeling motivated when I help others.

According to me helping other peoples is also a great way to be motivated all the time.

11. How much time do you spend blogging?

I don’t have any fixed time table for blogging but still, I’m giving 4-5 hours daily to my work.

But on Sunday I do not do any work related to blogging, I play cricket at about 4-5 hours on Sunday and goes for a long ride 😂.

12. Would you encourage other people to make their blog?

Yes, I would like to encourage all the people who have an interest in blogging to start their own blog and share their knowledge with others.

But, I have seen many newbie bloggers who came to this field only to earn money and they think we’ll become a millionaire overnight. But, It takes time to generate a good amount of passive income from your blog.

13. Can you name some of your favorite bloggers and explain why they are your favorites?

As you know I have already mentioned all my favorite bloggers in your previous question. Here are a few of them:

  • Neil Patel – You all know about him he is a professional digital marketer I’m following him since last 1.5 years.
  • Brian Dean – Name me a blogger who doesn’t know about him. Brian Dean is an SEO genius and I learned a lot of things from him.
  • Harsh Agarwal – Harsh is one of my favorite Indian bloggers and I learned a lot from his blog shoutmeloud.
  • Santanu Debnath – Santanu is my good friend and also a fellow blogger I also learned many things from him.
  • Sumit Sao – I learned many things from Sumit he helped me a lot in my blogging career.
  • Shivam Kumar – I’m a fan of his writing skills I love to read articles published on his blog very much.

14. Cool tips for a newbie?

Here are some tips that will definitely help you to grow your blog quickly:

Do not focus on quantity focus only on quality because google only loves quality and deeply written articles.

Build a strong relationship with other bloggers in your niche.

Build an email list – When I started blogging I don’t know about this but if you want to earn hundreds of dollars from your blog in future then email list is very important. Right now I have a list of more than 800+ people.

Follow 80/20 principle it will help you a lot to grow your blog and manage your time.

And yes! HardWork, Dedication and Patience is also very important in this field.

So never give up and always try to help other people.

One thought from my side to you – “You don’t have money problem”, “You have skill problem”. So focus to develop your skills.

Thank you for giving me this opportunity to interact with you guys.
